Schwartz Rounds mentors

As the number of organisations running Schwartz Rounds is increasing, we need to find more mentors to support this work. Schwartz Rounds mentors play a key role in supporting Schwartz facilitators, clinical leads and steering groups to embed Schwartz Rounds within organisations, and in the quality assurance of Rounds on behalf of the Point of Care Foundation.

We’re looking for people with mentoring experience; who understand and have experience of managing group processes; who are familiar with working in emotionally challenging roles and environments; who understand organisational culture and staff and patient experience issues; and who are willing to travel.

Mentors are paid contractors with the opportunity to attend skills masterclass with Point of Care Foundation Associates. The work is flexible and based on an agreed number of organisations and locations. Mentors play an important ambassadorial role for the Foundation and provide essential support for organisations implementing rounds.

If you are interested and would like to arrange an informal chat about the role please contact Julian Groves, Head of Staff Experience Programmes and Resources, or Farhana Nargis, Programmes Manager.
