Webinar: experiences of patient shadowing

29 September 2016

Want to learn how shadowing patients can help you put yourself in patients’ shoes and design patient focused improvements? Register now for our free webinar to hear from experienced clinicians who have used patient shadowing to improve how they care for patients.

Facilitated by Bev Fitzsimons, Head of Improvement and Q Initiative Fellow, the webinar will feature presentations and discussion with:

  • Dr Joanne Minford, paediatric surgeon who has used shadowing to improve care at Alderhey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust
  • Karen Brown, end-of-life nurse and Kate Tredgett, consultant in palliative medicine, discussing their current project at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

There will be lots of opportunities for participants to ask questions and to understand how they can use the Patient and Family Centred Care toolkit to find out more about shadowing.

If you have any questions about the webinar, please contact Angus Wiltshire for more information.
