Laura Golding

Project Lead: Schwartz Rounds in Higher Education


Laura was appointed as the Project Lead: Schwartz Rounds in Higher Education in January 2022.

Prior to this, she was a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director in Clinical Psychology at the University of Liverpool. Having been a qualified clinical psychologist for over 30 years, much of Laura’s career has been spent working in the NHS in the North West of England in community services for adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as working in universities, training clinical psychologists.

Laura has been running interprofessional Schwartz Rounds for healthcare students at the University of Liverpool since 2016. She is a Schwartz Round facilitator and leads the University of Liverpool’s Schwartz North project, which has enabled nine universities in the North of England to run Schwartz Rounds with students. She is also involved in a number of student Schwartz Rounds research and evaluation projects.
