Point of Care Foundation tests new partnership model

We are pleased to announce a new Patient Leadership programme, offered in partnership with InHealth Associates.
This is the first time the Foundation has worked in this way. We have decided to trial the provision of administrative and communications support to others whose work helps to further our charitable aims. Our mission is to ‘humanise healthcare’ – and while we adopt a range of our own approaches to achieving this goal, we know there are other people and organisations doing important work within this space, who we can support by raising awareness of their activities among our communities.
The Patient Leadership course will be delivered by InHealth Associates, whose founder, David Gilbert, is the first person to hold a Patient Director role in the NHS, and a long-standing advocate for patient involvement and Experience-Based Co-Design.
