Maintaining humanity in the face of pressure

26 October 2017

Throughout 2017, we are organising a series of events across England to discuss ‘maintaining humanity in the face of pressure’. This will be an opportunity for us to find out what you are doing in your organisation, but also for us to share some of what we have learnt over the years.

What can NHS providers and other care organisations do to maintain safe and compassionate care in light of very challenging conditions?

Throughout 2017, we are organising a series of events across England to help health and care professionals to explore:

  • why supporting staff makes sense; definitive evidence to show how supporting staff improves the experience for patients
  • how safe reflective practice contributes to a positive and open working culture
  • how patient-centred quality improvement can empower staff to make tangible changes that benefit both patients and staff
  • ways to improve staff survey results and CQC ratings around staff engagement, organisational culture, team work and leadership

Each event will run from 10.00-13.00, with registration open from 09.30.
