Covid 19 and the Point of Care Foundation

17 March 2020

The impact of the Covid 19 outbreak is now being felt everywhere. Like many organisations, we are feeling our way through a difficult and rapidly changing situation. We want to ensure we are being as responsive as we can to the needs of the organisations we work with, and our staff and associates.

This means that we are postponing several of our events and will conduct some online instead of in person. We will stay in contact with everyone affected and will endeavour to reschedule activities when circumstances allow.

In the meantime we offer our solidarity with all health and care workers, who currently face even greater challenges than usual. It is more important than ever that employers and government work to protect the physical and emotional wellbeing of staff. Even as we retreat into greater isolation we must not lose the metaphorical human touch in our care for patients and each other.
