Richard Evans


Richard has worked in health charity communications for over a decade. Since 2018, he has been Deputy Director of Marketing and Communications at Blood Cancer UK, where he has overseen the changing of the charity’s name from Bloodwise to Blood Cancer UK, and led its communications response to the Covid pandemic.

Richard has previously led teams at The King’s Fund, Diabetes UK and World Cancer Research Fund.

He is a former journalist and has written a biography of Basil Clarke, the founder of the British public relations industry. He has previously been an elected member of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
