Annual Schwartz Rounds conference: The Simple Human Touch
This year’s Schwartz Rounds conference will be held on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 (10am – 4:30pm) at IET London.
The event will bring the UK and Ireland Schwartz community together for the last time under the leadership of the Point of Care Foundation. Alongside workshops focusing on Schwartz practice and plenary discussions we will use the moment to celebrate the work we have done together, and look to the future for Rounds.
Conference aims:
- To deepen relationships and feel more connected as a community
- To develop the craft of Schwartz Rounds facilitation
- To celebrate achievements and lean into challenges
- To build confidence in sustaining Rounds through times of change

- The Secrets to Sustaining Rounds: 10 Years and More (available virtually)
- Curiosity and the Act of Questioning: Deepening facilitation skills
- Telling the Story: Communications and Schwartz Rounds
- Bearing Witness, Leadership, and the Co-Creation of Psychological Safety
- Tales from across the pond: A session with colleagues from the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare, on their experiences of Schwartz Rounds in the USA (available virtually)
