Part of our mission to humanise healthcare is to ensure that the humanity of individuals working within the system is protected. Our promotion of Schwartz Rounds across health and care settings around the UK and Ireland, aims to ensure that all staff have access to a forum at which they can reflect on the emotional and psychological impacts of their role. Independent research shows that Rounds can have a big impact in reducing psychological distress among staff who attend regularly.
